Berry Smoothie

Berry Smoothie
This is my favorite summertime breakfast - a healthy, refreshing fruit smoothie. My trick to a creamy smoothie that is slower to melt is to use no ice and freeze all the fruit instead. Here is my recipe:

Berry Smoothie
1 banana, frozen
1 cup frozen berries, any kind (can use peaches instead too - or any fruit you are craving)
1/2 cup vanilla or blueberry yogurt
1/3 cup milk or soy milk

Put all in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy.

    another take on smoothies is using orange juice! i've found it sweetens them up without making me feel guilty...

  4. Great tip!!! I always wish my smoothies weren't sooo watery, so I like to use some yogurt or some soy milk, but then I don't like creamy fruit sometimes. This is an awesome idea! thanks for sharing!
